Ok so these movies may be boring and super long to anyone else, but i will cherish them. There will come a day when he is no longer this two year old that makes conversation about butterflies and sings his own songs. There are some great moments in these!
This first video is some signing, some talking and a whole lot of cute. Aunt Libby taught him the Lady Gaga song!
This is just harlan playing and singing. He is constantly signing while he is playing. He is singing and playing as i sit here and type this!
This last one is just a conversation with little man. He was just caught on the fact that the butterfly ran away.

Our backyard
Our backyard is a wonderful place to hang out and explore. Harlan and I took advantage of our beautiful weather this weekend to spend some time outside. Mommy is slowly adjusting to living in the country and even not minding the bugs QUITE so much.
Where's the sand??? too many toys mama!

Update
As many of you know, Justin and I have started back down the journey of trying to make Harlan a big brother. I thought about posting updates about how that is going here because I dont really want to plaster it all over facebook but I dont mind sharing with the people that are interested and want to know where we stand.
We are currently in our 3rd medicated cycle. I had a ultrasound Thursday morning that showed that the medication that I took earlier this month was able to produce 2 good size follicles (what releases the egg to be fertilized.) Dr Jarrett's nurse called me later that day to confirm that we were ready to move ahead. So I gave myself a shot Thursday night, Justin and I have some work to do, and then we will find out if it worked in roughly 2 weeks. We are both super optimistic about this cycle and both have a feeling that this just might be "the cycle".
I will try my best to keep this blog updated, so that we can share this with all who are special in our lives. Those of you that know me best know that I am not the kind to keep quiet about things, so hopefully there will be good news to share soon.

The Zoo 7-25-10
So its been awhile. What can I say, life with a 2 year old in pretty non-stop...but since we are all worn out and being lazy after a day in the humidity, I am taking the time to share this pictures from our trip to the zoo today. We met Mommy's cousin BC and his girlfriend Kathy there and Aunt Libby went with us. It was soooo much fun!

2 year check up and pool party
So I have tons of pictures from Florida and promise as soon as I find time to pick and choose the best ones I will share them here. But we have hit the ground running since we returned and I havent had much time to stop and blog. I have, however, had time to take Harlan into his doctor for his 2 year check up. Are you ready for this....... he is 24 lbs 11 oz and 33.5 inches long. Not bad. Still on the small side but again porportional. I did discuss his lack of eating with his doctor and how some days Mommy feels he must be starving and she reassured me that this is normal toddler behavior. She also stated that his vocabulary is above average, which I could have guessed from his chatterbox ways! His ears look great and there are no need for tubes at this time!! Such great news!
We took a recent evening after returning from Florida to check out grandpa's new water playground! Harlan loved it, and definitely has a HUGE new love of the "baby pool". In fact we had to tell the baby pool his has at home goodnight, before going to bed. Here are some fun pictures from our pool party with Alex and Alana
It all started at the sprinkler
This looks like it is leading to trouble! (Harlan and Alana)
Nana and her flock
Oh no! Not the yellow bus...taste good alex??
Alana got the yellow bus...look at that look of victory :)
Who you lookin at??

Just 2 babies hanging out in budweiser chairs....classic

Happy Birthday Aunt Libby
Over the holiday weekend we attended a party to celebrate Aunt Libby's 13th birthday. What a great time it was. We got to participate in lazer tag and do some swimming at the hotel. Harlan really loved all of Libby's friends! And Aunt Libby even got to go to the Indianapolis 500 the next day!! Here are some pictures from the weekend!
Eating pizza at lazer tag

The whole gang (minus gigi and little man)
Libby with her beautiful cake ( a replica from a cake in the twilight movie!)
This is how Harlan stayed entertained during lazer tag. All you need is a truck and a ramp!

We also hit the game room...fun as always!
