Pretty cool stuff here. You may notice the whining, not happy Harlan. This is actually much better here after Motrin and oragel. We were trying distraction when little man shocked me with this new "can do". I am really impressed with his balance here. I am expecting that other darn front tooth any day now, so my poor boy can get some relief. Snuggles with Mommy are always avaible and help too.

In other news, riley found a new home today. She went to what seemed like a very nice family with 3 children and a big fenced in yard. I hope she is very happy there and I will call and check in with her in a few days. I think days outside with the kids will make her vary happy. She is a good dog and will be missed!

Now that it is warmer ~ first bath in the sink!!!!

Harlan needed a quick bath before dinner tonight after a particularly yummy teething biscuit that he shared with Riley. In an attempt to get in a quick bath, we used the kitchen sink for the first time. It ended with very funny video. Harlan is a curious little man and will explore everything he comes in contact with. ENJOY! (sorry for my loud laughing, i guess i am too close to the camera when i laugh)



Picture this ~ Mommy had gotten home from her short shift today and was starving. Her and daddy were sitting down to enjoy the chinese I brought home while Harlan was entertaining himself at the toybox within our view. Next thing I know, I hear crying and look up and just see feet sticking up and out of the toybox, kicking like crazy. Poor little guy tumbled into the toybox head first trying to get to a toy. Needless to say he wasnt happy about being in there. It took me a second to register what had happened and that feet sticking out meant he was in there, then it was oh no, he fell in!! If I would have had my camera close i would have taken some pictures bc it was too funny to pass up, but it was in the car, and i didnt want all the blood rushing to his head. I think the picture you can come up with in your head is probably as funny as how it looked in real life. poor little man. (and for my sister ~ no harlan's were injured in the making of this post)

People to see....Things to do

Another busy weekend. But good busy, with family and getting things accomplished. And of course cute photos!

This is what happens when you let a 9 1/2 month old attempt to feed himself. It was a mess but he seemed to really enjoy it. and Riley enjoyed licking up what ended up on the floor.


Libby, Harlan and I enjoyed lunch at today. We really enjoyed it.

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day was very busy for us. Harlan passed on the green beer, but we celebrated in other ways. Our first big order of the day was to find Mommy a new way to work. They shut down the major road from Franklin to Shelbyville and now it is back country roads for me. It adds an extra 20 mins on to my drive. ugh. anyway, Harlan tolerated being in the car for the extended period of time very well and took advantage of the time for his morning nap. We then went and met my family for lunch. After that it was a quick stop at home for a clean diaper and a bottle and then we were off again. We went and visited Daddy at work and walked around the outlet mall for awhile. All in all it was a great day. Here are some pictures:

This is a picture of Harlan playing on Monday. His diet is NOT dolphin friendly!

Harlan checking out what was going on outside. (which was nothing) He is definitely a baby on the move and you cant keep him down. He even managed to pull Mommy's glass of ice tea of the table and all over him. Can we say babyproofing???

St Patty's day morning and Harlan in one of Mommy's fav outfits. Notice the lack of sheet on our bed due to an early morning poopfest that landed Mommy and Harlan both in the shower (all i can say is a baby pooping while jumping in the jumperoo leads to BIG messes)

At lunch with Gigi, uncle laryn and aunt libby. Doesnt he look cute in the hat??? Daddy says Harlan cannot work in a restaurant ~ ever!

Harlan with uncle Laryn who went to the parade downtown and bought Harlan a onesie that said "I cant talk yet, but I have an Irish attitude! And after Gigi fed Harlan he sure needed a change of clothes, so we went with the new shirt!

Visiting Daddy at work. Harlan is trying to get the earpiece outta Daddy's ear. which he does successfully and puts it right in his mouth!

Harlan decided to nap during the shopping portion of the day. He knew Mommy had the shopping under control!

And what could make a superb day even better????? A text message from Tia Ana saying the babies are home!!! YAY!!!

AND

what new thing is Harlan doing now you ask???? well just this morning as Mommy was getting ready for work, Harlan crawled into the bathroom and used the pant leg of Mommy's scrubs to pull himself to standing. then proceeded to walk around Mommy's legs (while having a death grip on me) while mommy got ready. pretty cool huh?? and he talked to me the whole time too. what we he do next? Stay tuned!
