So I got some negative feedback from some people (you know who you are) about the last video of harlan's that i posted. we thought it was pretty funny and no babies were harmed in the making of the video. so here is a good happy video of harlan watching a video of himself. he loves seeing the "baby" on the screen.

weekend wrap-up

It has been a busy weekend for our clan. My dad came up and did an awesome job helping up paint a seriously tough room to paint. He would like me to tell you that he did a great job on the trim work, and i would have to agree that it looks really amazing.

this is the patched up hole that was not there when we started. harlan's gpa, my dad, had an "incident" with a ladder. he felt really bad but no big deal cause its all fixed. but we still like to tease him about it.

9 month appointment

9 MONTH STATS: DRUMROLL PLEASE................................... 19 LBS 9 OZ (50TH PERCENTILE) AND 27 INCHES LING (25TH PERCENTILE) so he is a little short. no big suprise, considering his mama.

Here is a video that i shot of harlan having a good ole time in his drawer. it has been brought to my attention that i should have helped him out but i didnt know he would just let go!

A New Ride

Harlan is the proud owner of a brand new carseat. We havent put it in the car yet, but we gave it a test drive in the living room.

This is Harlan watching the chefs cook at Kabuto. He was really into it, and loved the cooled off soup that mommy let him try.

Our trip to the park

Daddy fixed our problem! Turns out it was an issue with privacy settings. Whatever, it works!!

Here are our pictures from Harlan's first trip to the park in our subdivision. It was kinda rough getting there since they have pulled up some of the sidewalk and there is thick gravel there now. It was hard to muster the stroller through it, but we made it. (these pics are out of order, and after trying to move them around and just mixing them more i said forget it)

p.s. as i am typing this, daddy is feeding harlan at the other end of the couch. daddy is burping harlan and harlan is whacking the couch behind daddy (i guess he is burping the couch!) too funny!!!!!

Technical Difficulties

To all of our loyal blog readers, I havent forgotten about you. My new laptop isnot allowing me to post pictures on Harlan's blog, which is strange cause it did last week. Daddy has promised to look at it, but he had a late night last night and an early morning today, and with daylight savings time, that meant little sleep. Hopefully we will be back to full picture blogging soon because I have some great pics and videos that I am looking forward to sharing. I would post them from the other computer but I erased them from my camera when I uploaded them to the laptop.
