Easter

What a glorious day easter turned out to be. We had some of our favorite people over to our house, for our first offical family gathering at our new home. The weather was spectacular, the food delicious, and the company delightful! Cant wait for many more fabulous get togethers in the future!!

Sisters

More sisters

Even more sisters

Grandma and Grandpa enjoying the beautiful day

I dont know these people but they keep showing up at family gatherings so guess we are keeping them ;)

Nana doing what she does best....helping out!

This looks like trouble!

Pretty Aunt Libby and her pet potato

Pretty deep in conversation about something....i would love to know what they were talking about....probably Gen Con
Is this an optical illusion?? you decide
Connor showing off his fart putty (if you dont know what it is, then dont ask, but secretly i thought it was fun to play with

Connor found one...hurry put it your basket before little man sees it!

He was a serious egg hunter!

Go get those eggs Libby:)

BC was the official egg spotter for little man, and when his basket became full, BC's drink became the official place to drop the eggs! (guess he remembered the egg coloring well!)

Wow the easter bunny put eggs on tires...that easter bunny sure is tricky!

Here's another one
This looks tasty....yum bunny cake :)
Guess i'll have another piece....
Not quite sure what is going on here. Aunt Lissa seems to be torturing little man, Libby is doing some kind of bugspray ballet, and BC is just trying not to look at the chaos that is ensuing!
After a long Easter Sunday, everybody needs a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse break. Wouldnt you agreee?

Future Career??

Little man knows how to turn on Mommy's camera and what button takes the picture. He hasnt quite figured out how to aim yet. But here are some of the pictues he took today. Who knows, if this turns into a career, these things could make me some money on ebay someday!

More Easter Fun!!

It OK to laugh....we sure did :)

Coloring Easter Eggs and an Easter Egg Hunt!

Our family got together with Nana and Aunt Jan today to color eggs and go on an easter egg hunt in the playroom. It was so much fun and I laughed harder than I had in awhile. Little man's sole purpose was to toss the eggs into the cups of water and laugh like a madman when the big splash erupted from the glass! Check this out!

Getting everything set to go

Dropping the tablets in the vinegar (and water later :) mixture
"What is going on here?"
Taking it serious at first....
but not for long... the first egg has hit the color!
Woah...missed the cup...do you see the egg??
Jan and I did our best to shield ourselves with towels..he was an egg coloring maniac!

Now we are getting somewhere, and having a blast!

Our finished product (look at his hands!)
Well .... and look at the rest of him :)
Being silly

This says it all....we had a blast!

Telling Jan thanks for the easter gift!
These are the eggs Daddy made....good job Daddy, they are pretty!
Next he decided to look at what was in the egg
On to hunting easter eggs, he really loved this too, we heard lots of "yays" while he was hunting
Is there one under here?
So many eggs I need two baskets :)

Hoping the weather next weekend is warm enough for an outdoor egg hunt :) Keep on the lookout for some fun videos from our egg coloring adventure!
