Almost 2...

but not quite. Tomorrow we will celebrate our little man turning two. Two years ago our lives changed in such a way that we could have never imagined. Two years ago we met a new family member that has pretty much ran the show since his arrival. Two years ago we first looked into this face...the face of such a perfect little angel, and found new ways to love that we never knew existed.





One year ago we celebrated you turning one. It was such an exciting time! At the time you seemed like such a big boy, just learning how to walk, but looking back on the pictures, i see how much of my little baby you still were. And how much you have changed since then in your second year of life.







Seeing you turn two is still very exciting for Mommy, but this year, i wish if just for a moment, that I could keep you tiny forever. As excited as I am to see you grow and you conquer and learn new things on a daily basis, I just wish I could hold you and snuggle with your sweet baby face one more time. Today as you werent feeling the best, you took a little time to snuggle with Mommy on the couch and watch a movie, and I was so very thankful of those moments that you snuggled close to me. As we move forward, you will be my big boy, toddler, and forever little man. Starting tomorrow there will be a whole new set of pictures and memories from another new year of life to share with others, and i promise to cherish these new special times, as much as I already cherish the memories of the last two years.

This is probably boring to every one else but me but i love the little conversations that i have with my little man. you all know that i think that he is a genius, but he is also a great conversationalist as well!

It's Raining...It's Pouring.....

and we havent been blogging!! We have in fact been outside enjoying the beautiful weather that has been hanging around (not this week!). Scroll down for pictures of our adventures.

Latest news - Harlan is turning 2!! Very Soon. Invitations went out...ummm are going out tomorrow. The party is May 23rd at our house at 2pm. If you need any more information please call me. Everyone is invited. I made his invitations and got in a little over my head so if you somehow got left out of the invitations please know it wasnt on purpose and YOU are invited. Just contact me and I will get you here. Also we are planning a bonfire/house warming party Saturday may 22nd and everyone is invited that night as well.

We are also now battling a double ear infection and bronchitis. Harlan has strict instructions from the doctor to get better by his birthday though so no worries there. We switched pediatrician offices early this year and we are extremely happy with our decision!

Oh and Harlan is also starting daycare this week. It is the same place his cousins attend and I think he will be extremely happy there ( and nana is still his main babysitter...this is a supplemental thing). We will keep you updated how he does there..promise*

I will try to start keeping up on our blog better. We have lots of fun-ness planned this summer and will try to share it all here!!!

Easter

What a glorious day easter turned out to be. We had some of our favorite people over to our house, for our first offical family gathering at our new home. The weather was spectacular, the food delicious, and the company delightful! Cant wait for many more fabulous get togethers in the future!!

BC was the official egg spotter for little man, and when his basket became full, BC's drink became the official place to drop the eggs! (guess he remembered the egg coloring well!)

Not quite sure what is going on here. Aunt Lissa seems to be torturing little man, Libby is doing some kind of bugspray ballet, and BC is just trying not to look at the chaos that is ensuing!

Future Career??

Little man knows how to turn on Mommy's camera and what button takes the picture. He hasnt quite figured out how to aim yet. But here are some of the pictues he took today. Who knows, if this turns into a career, these things could make me some money on ebay someday!
