New Routine

Mommy had a brilliant idea today while she was washing bottles...AGAIN. Lets change our routine at night so that we take the bottle out of the equation. So tonight we tried a sippy cup with milk and a book at bedtime. It was not well recieved. The sippy cup was pushed away and every attempt was made to try and slide of mama's lap. When it became clear there was no other choice, little man settled in and enjoyed a nice story about Itsy Bitsy the spider. Apparently, there is alot more to the story of going up the water spout. He was just trying to get home! Poor Itsy
Harlan then had a little cry and settled in for sleep. Although it didnt go super smoothly, we will try again and see if we can turn this into our new rountine (so mommy doesnt have to wash bottles anymore!)

In other news, we took an outing today unlike any other. Nana Judy, Aunt Janet, Mommy, Little man and the twinfants (alex and alana) went out for shopping and lunch. First of all, Nana wins the prize for the most creative way to fit 3 car seats, 3 adults and a super stroller in one expedition. It was amazing. We had a fabulous day. I think we drew some attention everywhere we went (well the babies and harlan did), but it was happy attention and it was fun to show everyone off. Thank you Nana and Janet for the very fun and tiring day. WE are up for it anytime and are looking foreward to many more mini roadtrips!!!
