"Hey Daddy, how is work going today?"
Well apparently, Harlan then decided that Daddy was stuck in the phone and had to free him. The best way to get him out?? With his mouth of course. Harlan grabbed the phone and shoved it in his mouth. What does Mommy do? Take pictures of course! See the evidence below ~
'Hang in there Daddy, I will get you outta there!"
Now this may be slightly entertaining to everyone reading this BUT it was not so innocent of a rescue after all. First of all, Mommy can no longer hear her phone ring. That's right, it seems that slobber and spit are not good things to soak a cell phone in. (So if you call me, and I dont answer, dont take it personally. More than likely, its not because I didnt want to talk to you, it is because I cant hear the phone ring) Oh and did I mention that I also can barely hear the person on the other end as well?? It sounds like the person is very muffled and under a bunch of pillows. Luckily I can put the call on speaker phone and hear but it will sure make it hard to keep any call personal, esp in public. So the moral of the story?? Umm don't let your baby slobber all over your cell phone.
It's hard to blame the little guy though. Harlan felt kinda under the weather today, which meant some nice snuggle time for Harlan and Mommy. He had a low grade fever but after a dose of tylenol and a nap he seemed to feel much better. Mommy even turned the hot water on in the shower and sat in the bathroom with Harlan to help him breathe a little easier. When he woke up, he seemed like a happier baby. Here are some good pics from today (luckily there was no slobber attack on my camera)
"Look Mommy, I helped clean up after my carrots"
I know who taught him this one. He has a certain aunt (about 11 yrs old) that used to stick wet wipes in her mouth when she was little. Looks like it might run in the family.
Where's Harlan???????
There he is!!!
